Hello newbie players, and welcome to Westside RPG server.

This Guide will help you begin and understand the server. A lot of the information posted below is in different sections of the forum, and in some cases is more detailed.
However, this guide is easy to read and will give you all the basics you need to know when starting out on the RPG.




Registering and logging in :

When you enter on the server, before chosing a skin, type /register <Your Password>, then /login <Your Password> (without < >).

Finally, choose a Citizen skin (skins that you are able to use which says "Available for you").




Starting :

You will start at this point,



First of all, type /new, then type /rules to see some of the rules. Please also read the rules on the forum they are more detailed, and also apply to the server, so you know your rights and restrictions.

You have also available the command /help , this is very important and will show you all of your basic commands.

In West-Side - Dollars ($) are not important we use "rcash", so type /rcash to check how much rcash do you have, you will have 0 Rcash

Now ideally you need to get a job, but to get a job you need 25 rcash so now what?

If you type /mybag you will see in the first slot a check "banking check +20 rcash" so you need to go to the bank.

The bank is here :



You can arrive there by walking or using a car, but watch out! you dont have driving licence, so the police will most probably come after you
(some cars are out of fuel, so look for a car that has some fuel).

When you get to the bank wait until a messages says "Welcome to the bank".

Now to use an item from "/mybag" you can type /use (slot), since the check is in your first slot type /use 1 and you will see a message saying "+20 rcash".
Good ! You have 20 rcash (/rcash) but you are still missing 5 rcash -.-' .

To get Rcash it is not complicated, you have 2 availaible quests to get rcash while a Citizen you can do these quests anytime :

- First quest : go to bank and wait until it is (6:00 AM) you can see the time by typing (/time) you will recieve 15 Rcash each time
(each hour in game is 2 min in real life).

- Second quest : You can clean up the roads , by driving a sweeper. You can find some sweepers here :



So jump in it and start driving around. For every game hour (2 mins) you will recieve 2 rcash.




Geting a job :

Finally when you get 25 rcash, wait untill you recieve a message asking if you are looking for a job, then type /sms 477 yes and go to Job House, it is located here :
(follow the red mark on the map)



You will have available these jobs :
-Pdriver
-Police (Weapon licence needed)
-Mechanic
-Medic
-Lgiver

Then type /sms 477 <name of job that you want> (example : /sms 477 Mechanic).

Then Follow the red mark that is on your map. Once you have done so and gone to your 'will be spawning point'. You will be kicked but dont worry, enter again.

Warning : When You Login choose the skin relating to the job that you chose or you will just enter in the server in a cell, and have to re-login.

Great ! You now have a new job. You will recieve a banking check at Mid-night (real time) GMT +1, everyday as your pay package.

You can use command /help <your job> to see available commands for you. (example : /help Mechanic).




Vehicles :

You can buy a vehicle from the car shop located here :



Then call a mechanic to enter with you in the car and type /buy, and if you want to lock your vehicle type /lockmycar 1

How to get a weapon licence :

You need 3 items to get a weapon licence,
-Yellow key
-Weapon's plan
-Merit Award

Here You can find the Yellow key and Weapon plan :



Drive on the dirt track roads for about 15 min in real life and the item will appear in your bag (/mybag).

When you finally got both the items you need (Key and Plan)- the Merits Award is located in Las Ventures Police Department.





Type /get merit awardand wait until 6:00.

Ok, you now have the 3 items you need to get the weapons licence, confirm this by typing /mybag

Finally move to San Francisco Federal agency, that is located here :



Go where the car is, near the garage, and type "/get weapon licence" and thats it your finished,
you finally have the Weapon licence you are now able to select Police as a job.

To buy a weapon , ask to engineers (dark green names).




How to get the passports :

- For travelling to Las Venturas, and San Fierro.

To get the passport go to Zip store located here :



When you enter the store, you will recieve a message asking what passport you want,
so type /sfpassport or /lvpassport,
then follow the red mark to the airport and come back to the zipstore, and you should have the passport.

Each Passport Costs 45 Rcash.




Buildings :

Every time that you see this symbol



Type /enter to enter the building.
Type /exit to exit the building
